Diane Hawrylenko – Broker

Diane’s passion is helping people find the home of their dreams. One of her greatest strengths is her intuitive ability to match her clients’ needs with available homes that best fit their personalities and desires.

Diane entered the real estate profession in 1981, receiving her Brokers designation in 1983. She began her real estate career working with ‘Bud’ Moseley – a partnership that lasted 34 years, until his retirement in March 2015.

An award winning professional, Diane was the 2010 recipient of the Claude E. Dubrick Realtor Merit award for her commitment to the real estate industry and to our community. She has also served as a volunteer on most of the KWAR committees – and as President in 2003. A current member of the Governance Committee, Diane has also served on the Government Relations Committee for OREA.

Diane is very active in this community. As a member of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, Diane chairs the Federal & Provincial Affairs Committee.

She is a champion for the Canadian Cancer Society. (past President of the Canadian Cancer Society; the Regional Chair of their Daffodil Campaign ; Information Outreach Chair; and currently chair of Public Issues . Diane is also serves as a Community Representative for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Research Institute.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology (biology & sociology) from McMaster University. She had previous careers in both the public and private sector. Diane held the positions of Executive Director for a group home & researcher for both Provincial & Federal Governments, as well as Customs & Excise Officer for the Canadian Government. In the private sector, she was Branch administration for the Royal Bank – and later, a Mortgage & Loans Officer for the same.

Diane’s experience extends from dealing with 1st time home buyers to the full range of residential, investment and commercial real estate. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and great affection for the KW area with her clients. Diane is never too busy to speak with prospective clients about the real estate industry and the services she offers.
